The DITP held an online business matching activity for the medical equipment sector from March 23 to 26.
At the event, 26 Thai companies virtually met 44 potential importers from more than 20 countries across the world, including India, Russia, Malaysia, Singapore and the US. It resulted in 104 business negotiations, and total orders amounting to 118.4 million baht (US$3.76 million) are expected to be placed within a year.
The most-sought medical equipment included personal protective equipment (PPE), x-ray protection gowns and syringes.
