The DITP joined Hisense Plaza and Shangri Fruit, to host Fruit 1+N, a promotional event for Thai fruit at Gran Vida supermarket in Qingdao from May 15 to 23.
The best-selling Thai fruits at the fair included durian, especially Monthong and Kanyao varieties, coconut and pomelo. The event generated sales of 31.5 million baht (US$ 1 million) and about 196 million baht (US$6.25 million) of sales is expected within a year.
