The DITP brought Thai digital content providers to three international trade fairs in March, with business matching activities between them and potential purchases expected to be worth more than US$18.98 million (600 million baht) in total.
“By joining international trade fairs, we can promote the capability of Thai digital content providers to the world, as well as promoting the image of Thailand as the world’s creative country,” DITP Director-General, Banjongjitt Angsusingh said. “It also allowed them to extend their business network internationally.”
According to DITP, seven software providers attended Game Connection American 2019, from March 18 to 22 in San Francisco, while a further 22 Thai entertainment companies participated in Hong Kong International Film & TV Market 2019 (FILMART) from March 18 to 21 in Hong Kong. In addition, seven advertising companies joined ADFEST 2019 from March 21 to 23 in Pattaya, Thailand.
