The DITP will host the Asian Digital Content Virtual Business Matching event from June 16 to 18 in order to promote Thai digital content and allow Thai creators to meet potential entrepreneurs from Japan, South Korea and Taiwan.
At least 30 companies from Japan, South Korea and Taiwan are expected to attend the virtual business matching activity with 20 Thai companies. The DITP believes this event will generate about 30 million baht (US$962,000).
In 2019, the Thai animation market was valued at 3.494 billion baht (US$108 million) while the character market was valued at 2.146 billion baht (US$68.8 million). For more information on the digital content industry, email: [email protected].
