Thai Children’s Products Popular in China

The DITP’s overseas office in Ching Dao, China has observed that children’s products demonstrate a great potential for Thai exporters as younger Chinese parents have great confidence in the quality of Thai products, according to a press release dated August 13.

Thai manufacturers are recommended to use the latest technology as health-conscious parents are constantly seeking new products for their children. This may increase the unit price of children’s products, but modern Chinese parents have a high purchasing power.

Data has revealed that the import of toy products to China rose 25.27% in the first quarter of 2021. During the same period, China imported toys from Thailand worth 425.94 million baht (US$13.74 million), a 1.6% increase year on year.
