Thailand’s Minister of Commerce represented by the DITP will join with Siam Makro to assist Thai SMEs to develop and distribute their products through the chain’s stores in China, Cambodia, Myanmar and India.
Under the collaboration, the sales promotion activities will be organised at Makro branches in overseas market. DITP’s New Economy Academy will host training courses to enhance the skills of SMEs in the Siam Makro network. Thai SMEs will have the opportunity to join business matching and other DITP activities.
Siam Makro has also proposed to make a MOU with the DITP to support Thai SMEs to penetrate overseas market.
