Deputy Prime Minister and Commerce Minister, Jurin Laksanawisit presided over the opening ceremony of the Multimedia Online Virtual Exhibition or MOVE 2021 via online platform www.move-ditp.com, which was held from June 23 to 25.
The aim of the event was to maintain and increase marketing channels for Thailand’s digital content industry and demonstrate its capabilities to the world. It was expected to generate over 1.5 billion baht (US$46.85 million) of revenue into the country.
Last year, MOVE 2020 attracted more than 20,000 website visitors, created more than 350 business negotiations, and generated over 1.8 billion baht (US$56.22 million) of revenue.
Thailand’s digital content industry is valued at over 229 billion baht (US$7.15 billion).
