The DITP organised Mini Thailand Week 2020 at Hai Phong province in Vietnam from June 25 to 28, generating over US$597,000 in revenue.
Forty Thai businesses showcased and sold their products at the four- day fair, which attracted 120,000 visitors. The best-selling products included fruit, electrical appliances, artificial flowers, jewellery cleaners, household appliances, clothes and shoes.
“The success of the fair is beyond our expectations, and all visitors are satisfied with it. They have requested us to host the fair annually offering a greater variety of products. Buyers think that Thai products are a high quality at a reasonable price,” DITP Director-General, Somdej Susomboon, said.
