Online business matching activities hosted by the DITP in the past few months have generated more than 10 billion baht (US$320 million) in export value to the country, according to a news release on August 7.
Since April 2020, the DITP has organised many online business matching activities to facilitate Thai manufacturers and exporters, and these activities have received an overwhelmingly positive response from Thai businesses, and international buyers and importers. These activities have resulted in orders worth 10.576 billion baht across a one-year period. The most sought-after products are fruit, such as longan, Nam Dok Mai mango and durian.
Deals inked at online business matching activities will also allow Thailand to export automobile parts to the US, and rice to Mozambique and South Africa.
