The DITP hosted the Mirror-Mirror trade promotion event at the Sheraton Saigon Hotel and Towers in Ho Chi Minh City on November 23. This enabled Thai entrepreneurs who supply innovative and eco-friendly products to exhibit their products at the international trade fair without having to attend in person.
At the event, 14 Thai companies from various sectors namely, food, supplementary food, pet products and cosmetics met with 59 Vietnamese buyers virtually, creating 113 business negotiations.
“The event attracted high attention from Vietnamese buyers who appreciated innovative Thai products,” said DITP Director-General Phusit Ratanakul Sereroengrit. “It conformed with the government’s policy in promoting BCG (Bio-Circular-Green economy) model in product development. These products meet the needs of the younger generation of Vietnamese consumers who show more interest in innovative and eco-friendly products.”
