The DITP recently helped Thai food producers promote their products at Foodex Japan 2021 through its Mirror Mirror online trading channel, which included a virtual exhibition and online business matching, from 9 to 12 March.
Six Thai companies joined the exhibition where many Thai products, including fruit, snacks, seasoning, honey, vegetarian food and processed food received a good response from Japanese buyers.
About 20,000 visitors attended this virtual trading channel. The DITP estimated the value of trade stemming from the event as amounting to more than 80 million baht. (US$2.5 million)
