The DITP and its affiliates have been monitoring the efforts of the global community to diminish the COVID-19 situation over the past few months. Although Thailand has been able control the outbreak effectively to the degree that there has been no local infection in the past two months, the health and safety of industry stakeholders has always been the top priority of the Bangkok Gems and Jewelry Fair (BGJF) organisers. Therefore the DITP has decided to reschedule the 66th BGJF to February 23 to 27, 2021 under the same theme, “Thailand’s Magic Hands: The Spirit of Jewellery Making.”
In the meantime, the DITP is working closely with partners to come up with a “BGJF Special Edition – On Ground to Online Exhibition” which will be launched from November 2 to 4, 2020. The primary objective of this online platform is to virtually continue the legacy of BGJF as the world’s leading gems and jewellery meeting point showcasing the refined craftsmanship of Thailand’s artisans.
