The Ministry of Commerce has encouraged and supported Thai entrepreneurs to expand their business in India by targeting potential states, and distributing products through modern trade and online platforms.
To support this mission, the Ministry has conducted several activities, including a sourcing forum on February 26 at the Centara Grand at Central Ladprao, Bangkok, which allowed major Indian retailers to meet Thai suppliers and place orders.
Moreover, the DITP will organise three Top Thai Brands trade fairs in Kolkata, Mumbai and Chennai as well as hosting a trade delegation from Thailand to seek out business opportunities in India’s Northeastern Region.
