Sixteen Thai hotel amenity companies and other services providers recently attended a business matching activity with Japanese importers and buyers in Tokyo, Japan.

“The business matching activity resulted in orders worth US$623,688 within the first year,” DITP Director-General Banjongjitt Angsusingh, said on January 10. “Japanese buyers pay more interest in products that have uniqueness, for example, hotel amenities containing local raw materials.”

Thai products of most interest include wood products for indoor and outdoor decoration, aluminum furniture, wood furniture, bed sheets and pillow covers, as well as skincare, haircare and spa products.
