The DITP and ASEAN Korea Centre (AKC) jointly hosted the Trade Innovation Workshop for Thai SMEs in the Game Industry from July 30 to August 1.
The programme’s activities included company visits, a workshop, business consultations and business matching activities between Korean and Thai game companies.
Thirty Thai entrepreneurs participated in the workshop, during which leading Korean game developers shared their experiences and knowledge of the Korean and global game industry.
The business matching activities generated around US$32,500 (1 million baht) in immediate sales and around (US$504,600) 15.5 million baht in potential sales over the first year. Publishing, game development, VR and AR proved of particular interest with participants.
